Alyssa Fowler recommends Diary of a Wimpy Kid Tales From a Not-So-Fabulous Life by Rachel Russell 6th grader, Alyssa Fowler, recommends this book to her peers because anyone who goes to a school with friends can relate. There may be, as Alyssa says, “one girl who is mean to you because of the way that you dress or the way or act or the friends you have.” This book shows how the main character, Nikki, fixes problems like that. “When Nikki is mad at the mean girl, Mackenzie, she wants to say something but just says it in her head so no one hears her… When you are mad at a girl that goes to your school or even one of your family members, this is a good book to show you what to do … so you don't get in trouble.” Alyssa gives this book a 5 out of 5!
