March 4th through 8th is Read Across America Week. Our theme this year is Read Across the Amazing Regions of America. Throughout the week, students will have the opportunity to listen to books set across our wonderful country. Each day will focus on a different region. Students will have the opportunity to dress with the theme of the day. We have a guest reader opportunity on Friday, March 8th. We still need more guest readers. Mrs. Chapman delivered Do Unto Otters by Laurie Keller to classrooms today. This title represents the core value for the month of February, which is kindness. Mrs. Chapman reminded students to treat others how they would want to be treated. We hope that our students will enjoy the Principal's Book of the Month, while reading about ways to show kindness.
