What is Child Find?
Child Find is a legal requirement that schools find all children who have disabilities and who may be entitled to special education services.
Child Find Covers every child from birth through age 21.
The school must evaluate any child that it knows or suspects may have a disability.
What Are The Steps of Child Find?
1. Enroll in Monroe County Schools for testing purposes. Click here for Monroe County Schools Enrollment Information.
2. After enrolling, please click here to fill out this form to schedule an appointment.
3. If needed an evaluation will be scheduled.
